The Empoyees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced Housing scheme for EPFO subscribers for governmental as well as non governmental people. EPFO has partnered with the development ministry for construction of 10 Lakh homes. EPFO with the help of urban development ministry would construct 10 Lakh homes in two years. Under the group insurance housing strategy, EPFO contributors will be given homes in way. EPFO would also hold talks with the development ministry for providing subsidy to EWS Subscribers under the CLSS the different parts of PMAY.
People who subscribe EPFO would also be provided interest subsidy as per the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme of government. MIG contributors could have the capacity to get the interest subsidy of 3% for a loan level of around Rs. 18 Lakh while 4 percent subsidy would be awarded on loan number between Rs. 6 lakh to 1-2 Lakh.
